These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Maxim Sadovnikov ("we", "us", "our"), governing your use of the CryptoProfit mobile application (the "App"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
CryptoProfit is a personal Bitcoin portfolio tracking tool. It lets you manually log deposits and BTC purchases, optionally import your own transaction history from Bybit using an API key you provide, and view calculated profit/loss figures based on BTC price data. The App is a record-keeping and calculation tool only. It does not execute trades, hold funds, transmit money, or manage assets on your behalf.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at maxsadovnikov77@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use. This license does not permit you to copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, distribute, sublicense, or create derivative works of the App, except as permitted by applicable law. See the License for the underlying software copyright terms.
Connecting a Bybit API key is optional and entirely your choice. You are solely responsible for the API key and secret you provide. The App verifies with Bybit that any key you connect is read-only (no trading or withdrawal permissions) before saving it and on every subsequent use, and will reject a key that isn't — but this check depends on Bybit correctly reporting the key's permissions, and you remain solely responsible for how the key is configured on Bybit's platform. We encrypt your API secret at rest and use it only to read your own deposit and trade history on your behalf — but we do not control Bybit's platform, cannot guarantee its availability or accuracy, and are not responsible for any loss, unauthorized access, or account issue arising on Bybit's side.
The App does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Profit/loss figures, average purchase price, portfolio value, and all other calculations shown in the App are for informational and personal record-keeping purposes only, based on data you enter and third-party price data described below. Nothing in the App constitutes a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any asset. You are solely responsible for any financial decisions you make, whether or not based on information shown in the App.
Live and historical BTC price data is sourced from Bybit's public market API, a third party we do not control. Prices, calculations, and imported transaction data may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate due to third-party outages, API changes, or errors. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data or calculation shown in the App, and you should independently verify any figures material to a financial decision.
You agree not to: use the App for any unlawful purpose; attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App, other users' accounts, or our backend systems; interfere with or disrupt the App's operation; or use automated means to access the App outside of its normal use as a mobile application.
The App relies on third-party services — Supabase (backend/database/authentication) and Bybit (market data and, optionally, your account history). These services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices, which we do not control. Your use of Bybit's platform, if you choose to connect it, is subject to your agreement with Bybit directly.
The App, including its design, code, and content, is the proprietary property of Maxim Sadovnikov and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. See the License for details. Your financial records remain yours — we claim no ownership over the deposit and purchase data you enter.
You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account in the App, which immediately and permanently removes your account and associated data (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms.
The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that the App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Maxim Sadovnikov shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or financial losses arising from decisions made using information shown in the App, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us to use the App, if any, in the twelve months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Maxim Sadovnikov from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party's rights.
If you downloaded the App from Apple's App Store, the following additional terms apply and take precedence in case of conflict:
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Israel.
